Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a spacer to hold your ps2 ssd / small hdd firmly in place. It has two nubs that fit into the hdd where screws would go.
Cons
It also is too narrow to for a drive without sanding down the sides significantly. This is worth maybe 99 cents.
The only size harddrive it will fit, are ssd's or laptop sized harddrives. The pegs to hold the ssd in place are too large to fit into the holes on the ssd so it bows out.
Highlights
Quality
Overall the piece fitted in the ps2 with the ssd and is solid
Used this with the sata conversion kit and already recommended the drive spacer to a friend
The support nubs for the ssd either we misaligned or too big
Product works in securing smaller hard drives into the ps2 but getting the hard drive into the spacer is kind of hard
Packaging/appearance
Fits fine no screws needed but i almost sheared off one of the detents mounting hdd into the caddy

As others have mentioned it was a struggle to get the pegs to fit the best i could do resulted in it being bowed out a bit

If anything im not sure if the spacer would actually stay secure on the network adapter without the drive forcing the spacer to flex outwards

But it’s 3d printed so i just cut them off and it still fit snug inside once installed into the ps2

Needs to be flimsy i suppose because it does not use any screws to attach the hdd

And it needs to flex a bit to do this

I would have preferred screws but may be supportive enough as i am not the type of person that moves my playstation or takes it anywhere

The original design intention is for the drive to slide and clip onto a pair of small nubs in the unit just like in a tool less hard drive cage in a pc
