Pros & Cons

Pros

The seller is super attentive and knowledgeable. Shipping to poland is pricey, but arrived without any problems. Worth it to get it than none on my 25 year old ps2 phat.

Fan assembly replaces the original backplate perfectly. Took about a half hour to install, including cleaning the dust out.

The part fits well and didn't make the case warp. This hardware change to the chassis is really cool. Shoutouts to noctua's fans and tpo's bracket design.

The fan is super quiet even with a hdd running. My ps2 scph-39001 is now freakishly quiet. It's because you need a ethernet adapter installed in order for it to get enough power.

Works extremely well, super silent, fits like a glove. Difference in fan noise is shocking. This is my second item from the peaceful outcome - my first was their similar quiet fan upgrade for the original xbox.

Cons

V fan and a zener diode and resistor or regulator board could be made for $0. Its definitely an inconvenience and unnecessary extra spending. The print quality of the bracket here is not good.

Neither the fan itself nor the assembly produce any form of audible vibration or humming

In short you will not hear your ps2 being on anymore with this mod

Shoutouts to noctuas fans and tpos bracket design

    No audible blowing sound anymore

But i think in order to make it easier to install the thin part of the cable should be a little longer and the other part shorter

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I had problems because the cable connector would touch the fan and it would not spin

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

However as the title states there is a slight bulge that is formed where the multioutput cable plugs in

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Probably since the new frame for the fan is 3d printed
