I use one panel to charge two 12v sealed batteries it works great in the sunny days with limited clouds but on cloudy days it does not produce the power required so i have to purchase another solar panel and connect them in parallel

That should help with the cloudy days and with the controller you will not overcharge on sunny days

Works great for charging the 12v batteries this 20w solar panel has kept a 12 volt deep cycle battery charged for running a large electric fence charger at my cattle ranch
