Pros
Easy to set up and use for tech-averse 67-year-old woman. Tether app is user friendly and allows me to make most changes or view activity right from my home. Changing the default password was easy online.
My house is small enough and my ax21 is centrally located, so everywhere has great speed with my 250mbps fiber. We have a fiber optic internet at home. I'm using the same modem and am impressed with the speeds that this router is able to deliver.
The tp-link ax1800 is in a small cottage so range isn't much of an issue. But the one mesh extender in my detached garage is really where i've noticed the biggest difference. Seems to * the walls well and without issue.
Cons

Buyer beware. This router is a pos. It craps out.
The online support is completely useless and so are the troubleshooting videos. It seems that they will do anything but admit the unit is defective and replace it.
It's already cumbersome to manually type in mac addresses, so why take away full cut and paste functionality from your ui? Zip drive isn’t in a formate supported by apple. Many websites specifically have a file for ios but not tp-link!

I dont have any devices yet that take advantage of wifi 7 however its blazing fast for wifi 6 and wifi 6e and future proofs me for awhile

I purchased three rockers none of them work although i had not taken the third one out of the box but the first two will not work and every one that has bought this unit from amazon says the same thing it will not get the internet id be foolish to think that any different considering i bought three of them surely amazon can give me some of my money back its only right

I had to return two other manufacturers units because even though the wan and lan ports supported the higher rate the unit processing the data was slow and performance lacked
