The package talks about enhancing or speeding up wireless transmissions so at first i thought it might not be the right thing for a desktop that had no wifi capacity built in

The only issue ive had is if your network changes in my case a router change same network ssid and password i could only get it to work with a system reboot readding the network did nothing

The other con is that this is large than you think so itll jut out fairly far from any straight usb port you stick it into

My suggestion here is to buy a usb extension and plug that in there and rest the adapter somewhere else or you risk stumbling on it and breaking it
