I put this injector on a wemo outlet and can do this remotely now
Tplink you know im doing gigabitty stuff with a gigabit poe injector include a cat5e cable at least

Finally i decided to try testing the ethernet cable that came with the injector and sure enought it was faulty

Weird quirk is that if your house receives a blackout the device sometimes needs to be physically unplugged and replugged to get it functioning again
