Cons

Very disappointed with this item. Item has very old hardware version 1.

Tplink is discontinuing all their dsl/vdsl modems. Required 7 or 8 reboots per day to re-establish connection to a bell dsl line. Devices connected to wi-fi seems to disconnect from time to time.

The system log shows ppp0 timeout waiting for pado packets errors and cannot proceed with authentication. Be aware, the item is very old and may not work properly with modern providers.

This modem does detect the dsl bridge better than a dlink 2704b modem router and this tp link did auto detect the vci and vpi

Wifi wise it does have a boost passed n300 class however its wifi range is less than dlink and actiontec products
