The first time i set these up in my duplex the connection was spotty

I have heard many things about using powerline for networking in old houses including that if one outlet is on a different bus than the other the network signal will be lost or degraded

Many years ago i tried a powerline networking system and it just did not work so i returned it and basically gave up on the option

I get exactly the same network performance using the av500s as if i was plugged directly into my router with an ethernet cable no matter where the adapter is plugged in
