For gaming you're better off with an actual wifi pcie. Gaming is impossible with the amount of packet loss that thing experiences.
The only macos driver from tp-link that even starts to install is “beta” (other releases prompt wrong version) also the card refuses to switch from 2. Putting it on auto simply gives 2.

The data download rate from a ac router was terrible 5 mbps at best and the signal was constantly dropping

As title says didnt expect too much given the price but it performs well
