Pros
The lr41 is what they take. It's a game of hide the glow bugs and find them. Indoors or outdoors these little glowing bugs were loved. Some of the batteries come a bit tarnished but i did as instructed by other customers.
They are so cute at night but also bright enough for daytime play. My kids love taking turns hiding them in our house, with all the lights out. My 3 year old granddaughter loves!
Cons
Lid was all dented. There are 10 lightning bugs and each take three round batteries. Only 2 out of 10 fireflies light up. Would not reccomend or purchase again.

My son also enjoys just playing with the fireflies on his own and using his imagination
At the very least the manufacturer should include additional batteries with the toy

Well worth the money and they all work straight out of the jar
I’d give it 5 stars if they all worked right out of the box without needing to replace any batteries

I thought it would be great because each child would be looking for their own fireflies and we could hide the older childs fireflies in more difficult spots

Although i bought these as a christmas present i knew from the reviews i should expect some of them will not light
