Being abused ethically, situationally and emotionally clarifies many abusive situations. Once the situation is clearly seen and understood, forgiveness is an option.

Cons

Not a book to help you on overcoming the issues. Preys on the minds of the young and mentally vulnerable and turns them against their parents. Forgiveness, understanding, and compassion of others has no place in this book.

The book is filled with cynicism aimed at tearing down value constructs under the guise of healing. She presents her own shallow definition of forgiveness that is very superficial. God says man’s wisdom is foolishness with god.
