If you do not have a gfi plug on any outlet that you use for outdoor work get one or insatall a gfi plug in that outlet

As such it would be useful if there were a way to enclose the connecting socket to protect the cord connection from rain or water intrusion

The tower unit does recommend testing the unit after each power outage either purposefully losing power or not

I havent tested a current leak to see if the gfci works but the test button and reset work
