The kettle is very noisy when switched on

I love the style and colour of this item but unfortunately it is faulty it is a tower brand kettle but it only boils half way and i have to wait a few seconds and restart the boiling process i have spoken to tower about this and they assure me this should not happen they gave me a reference number so this can be sorted asap

Unfortunately it no longer reaches boiling point unless i press switch 3 times
