Pros
Vw air filter is genuine and easy to install. Easy to remove from the car with a t25 torx driver to remove the filter housing screws. It's an air filter, what else to say?
Mann now own fram. Use these as replacement for dealership products. Top is oem, bottom is mann. Each one comes with new o-rings.
Cons
However it is about one inch too long and 1/2 inch too wide. Didn't fit my cat.

At 5 yr 39k miles the old media was noticeably dirty and more important the foam seal was getting a bit tired there was evidence that it was leaking around the edges

Just a few turns of a hexbit raise the cover a few inches pull the old filter out and plop the new one in
