I was unable to use it because one of the existing ribbons that attach from the sp2 to the screen broke

This ended up not working on my surface pro 2 but it could have been because of a hardware issue we arent really sure

The installation process was pretty easy for my husband who is an it professional but unfortunately we had to push on the screen anytime we wanted to use the surface pro in order to see what was on the screen
