I did buy a 2tb hd to help with getting the memorys off the vhs and onto the hard drive
Not a major drop in quality for dvdvhs and as long as you stay at or under 720x480 30fps it seems to handle camera usb 2

To record i decided to use obs instead of the provided software and obs was able to pick up the device after restarting
