Pros
These pumps are always dependable and economical. Can get them at home depo and lowe’s for the same price. Price drops periodically to $89 on amazon which is a great price!
It uses 82 watts, info that is not easy to find. But it runs continuously and does a good job.
Cons
Problem seems to be in the inaccessible internals of the pump. There’s no hose adapter.

The best bet is to use a prefilter of some sort even the bag that comes with this one and clean everything frequently

Customers complaining about outlet connection sizes i gave up trying to make proper plumbing connections on pond pumps when it seemed that every manufacturer and perhaps product runs of the same manufacturer produced outlets with different size threads
