Pros & Cons

Pros

Beautiful looks like a peice of art! The looks of it are impeccable. The bamboo is very sleek looking and beautiful.

The size is long enough for most pastry/dough and simple to manipulate or trim the edges evenly. I use it weekly for making indian bread which requires rolling dough into the thin circular shapes. The small size works for even full-sized pie crusts.

The french style rolling pin is superior as it doesn't leave creases at the end of the pin. It's a very minor design flaw that may not happen on every pin.

This rolling pin works like a charm. We use this pin for rolling out tortillas. This pin has a good weight to it, and rolls evenly.

Small enough to fit in my kitchen drawer. My small one is gorgeous – my large one is blah.

Cons

The surface is too smooth for any dry flour to cling on and hence dough tends to stick relentlessly on it.

I took one star off because while the design looks good the bamboo is slightly rippled due to the edge grain section being inconsistent when the manufacturer turned it on the lathe
