Pros

Overall, people are different and have different wants and needs so when it comes to picking a seat you may just need to take a leap of faith and try one firsthand to see if it suits. Bottom line is that i'm pleased with both.

This is a well-crafted, durable seat and lid made from real wood. The hinges are metal, and just as durable.

When installing tighten bottom fasteners to snug then wiggle seat and retighten. One i installed as is right out of the box; one i added washers to each side of the bowl for each bolt using the provided nut.

Cons

The opening is very small and after a day seat is loosening. Must be discarded & replaced. The pin inside the metal hinges is very soft plastic and deformed in 3 months.

Looks nice but very uncomfortable. Seat has no contour at all. Like sitting on a plank of wood.

Beautiful bamboo color was a little lighter than i had hoped for more of a light honey oak look

This was a lot lighter in color than expected but still looks good

Weve gotten other brands through lowes home depot and bed bath and beyond

Because of this even when im closer to other bathrooms i will seek this one out just to sit more comfortably
