Pros

Ink grows on the page to render your japanese medium nib a western medium nib. There is minimal feathering, and the paper is reasonably smooth (it's no clairfontaine though) the 20lb paper feels a little thicker than that.

The lines (pink and blue) are darker than on the amazon basics, but not distractingly so. Good writing surface is imperative (along with a great pen) to help prevent hand fatigue. Nice color & classy for meeting notes.

Cons

Paper is thicker than standard, but it's so coarse that gel pens (pilot g2s) still bleed through. Blue ink appears to have been lifted right off the page, and droplets of red ink in random spots.

The first pad i used began to accumulate paper at the top from pages torn off so that the remaining pages began to tear off jaggedly

If theres a higher quality paper pad set out there let me know

Well worth the price for someone who loves legal pads

If you want it cheap get the amazon basics pad

Costs a bit more but if you know you’re worth it so are these
