Pros

Nifty little amp. Headphone amp is solid, though don't try to drive anything stronger than 250 ohms if you want loudness.

Very well made and a great value for undemanding listening. The quality for the money is simply incredible. The packaging is top quality.

The sound quality is great, really transparent and crystal clear. Vocals are crystal clear and centered. The no nonsense, brushed metal aesthetic of this device is just the thing.

Tp21 is a desktop amp, or small amp to power bookshelf speakers. Solid rca connectors and binding postinhabit the rear panel. Ran my polk audio monitor 40 series 2 speakers. I am using this to power 2 polkrc80i speaks in a room that's ~15x20.

The mid-range on it is a little airy, at times. My only gripe is a small one, i wish the power switch was on the front.

Cons

Wpc is only into 4ohms and at full power it has 10% thd. On the topping, i have to keep the knob at 75-100% for decent volume, and even then the sound gets hissy.

The instruction booklet that came with the topping claims that it is protected by a one year warranty, however no one wants to honor the warranty. My lepai lp-2020a+ gets much louder, and that's rated at 5w less per channel. A worthless number. Best g...  Read More

The amp does have a very low noise floor and offers good detail and transparency but of course it is not as good as the 2 channel amps approaching 4 digits

At worst the qinpu could sound a bit dull with some material

In conclusion if i had to listen to a record such as the doors i would pick the qinpu the better dimensionality makes an older recording such as the doors or a mono movie more interesting to listen to
