Installation was extremely simple after i placed the intake grill over the opening to check for fitment i peeled off the protective film coving the 1mm thick sticky tape premounted on all the interior edges of the grill that would be in contact with the opening and then carefully lowered it into place pressing firmly all around the edges to ensure it was seated firmly

The fit is snug and secure and there is no audible buzz from the product coming into contact with any of the surrounding parts

I suspect real 3m tape would adhere even better but it seems to work for now only time will tell

The model 3 has no filter above the vent that leads to the in cabin filters inside
