Pros
Tripod is very sturdy and well made. Only minor complaint is the tripod hole does not fit with standard tripod screws. This is a pretty nice stand, certainly better than the * stand that came with an led light.

Nothing beats this for brightness and ergonomics. Stepless dimming is most useful when set to high and you want to dim it *below* the medium setting intensity.
The toolsand 1200 eliminates all possible confusion. The clever use of colored indicator lights to denote battery charge (0, 25, 50 and 100%) is a welcome feature. Recharge makes it easier for anyone that wants to go to the next level of light.
Footprint is small and easily stored or packed. Folds up nice and tight for transport as well. I am not good around the house so rob keeps the house in good repair.
Cons
Overall connection of the crossbar to the tripod is very week. The cross bar is thin and hollow. This one isn't on for an hour before it shows it's power bar status as needing a charge.
