Use this as an oiler on an ac compressor for an onboard air setup on a jeep zj and it seemed to do fairly well until the compressor just burned up this past month

Fortunately i found a good way to fill the oiler using a dental irrigation syringe something like this  hobbico 12cc curved tip hobby syringe

The oil goes in and the air is forced out past the top seal the way its supposed to

Sg tood aid company invented this type of oiler and patented it us3807530 in 1974

Many cheap knockoffs available on the market but some of them are very poorly machined and most of them use a singlehole orifice for oil metering

There are indeed other good units available on the market but they usually cost as much or more you cant know if theyll leak until you air them up and you wont know whether the metering hole will plug until you unscrew the metering disk to check its type

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If the gap is too large due either to faulty design or loose tolerances then the oil will not travel down into the metering hole

I had to discard a cheap chinese unit for this reason alone
