If youre worried about it tipping over because the base is so thin dont its heavy enough and makes it easier to work at the desk because it is flat so you can lay papers on top of it

The only thing i have found people leaving negative reviews are saying is a result to the assembly instructions not being clear about the clear plastic washers which allow the lamp to stand and be reangled to the proper degree
