Used to make sauerkraut,, holds 6 heads of cabbage. Can't wait for cucumber season.

Good quality, lightspeed shipping, safe packaging, pain free transaction. Easy to use and saves me loads of time.

Inside lip at the back of the water seal isn't ideal for cleaning but the overall quality outweighs that small inconvenience.

Cons

There was a big slice towards one end and blacked like a burn. No quality control. Carefully handwashed, dried and filled with cabbage. Low rating not for ease of use, quality of pottery or value.

Bottom is not flat. There's a nub that protrudes further than the rim. The inner lip is much lower then the outer lip, and there is a channel in the lid which make things even worse. I am sad it leaks.

I mitigated this by putting the weights in a gallon ziplock freezer bag and leaving air in it
