The diameter of the shade is a bit small for my taste producing a smallish viewing area

Solid but desk mount is not practical the bottom piece just gets inserted into mount without anything fastener to tighten it

Only reason it received 4 instead of 5 stars is that the onoff switch is on the cord hard to find
