Pros

The length is perfect for my needs. Installing this on the outside of the tub was the perfect choice. The padding really helps. It folds up out of the way when not in use.

Cons

These grab bars are not for installation in a normal constructed home with drywall. They require masonry walls or reinforced wall backing to hold the weight of the bars.

I received the product and was pleasantly surprised on the quality

Some stuff is very cheaply built nowadays and borderline unsafe but this railing seems very strong and made out of quality material

Its a quality product sturdy and well made but the description of where it can be mounted was lacking

I could only catch a wall stud with the left side so i drilled two additional holes on that side and used some 10x2

Packaging/appearance

It is very sturdy and can easily be folded to be out of the way

I installed this to help granny get in and out of the tub

I attached with lag screws into the 2x4’s framing the door
