The hubbs is the flexitarian, who still eats some meat on occasion but has dialed it down significantly. I have been vegetarian for about two years due to a chronic illness.

Hickory-smokes deli slices make magnificent sandwiches, wraps, melts, salads. Kudos to cruelty-free giant tofurky. Only complaint is that our whole foods only carries two flavors of t ofurky deli meat.

Cons

This stuff is absolutely horrid! Smells like a wet tennis shoe from the side of the road. Avoid at all costs.

Thinly sliced stay fresh for a week if properly stored in the fridge

It doesn’t taste like “imitation meat” at all

Price

5ounce offering is also a great value at this low price

For me value for the money is good makes 2 sandwiches with the single package of 5 slices

Packaging/appearance

The packaging leaves a lot to be desired though

It would be nice if they came in a resealable container rather than tightly packed

I have tried many others and they do not compare to the tofurky deli slices hickory smoked

These slices are similar to smoked turkey in flavor and texture

I can find some of the other flavors bologna roast beef italian at a different grocery store chain

I actually prefer tofurky and dont think of it like im settling for a meat substitute
