Pros

Used it to test led backlight for my 5 year old samsung tv. Had no problem powering a full backlight array. Tested backlights on every one of them that comes in with a dimness or dark spot complaint.

It's basically foolproof. The translated instructions are a little rough but are good enough. Easy to use and had an on/off button.

Using this instrument saves the time of having to completely take the tv apart to visually see if the backlight led's are working. It’s actually more economical in the long run than a series of 9v batteries.

Cons

Really makes me angry because returning stuff is getting to be a bigger problem with amazon lately. The quality is terrible.

Don’t waste your time trying to test backlights with a multimeter you need a stronger power source such as this unit

For the price much easier than messing around with meters and manual testing devices

I love it and you can’t always have everything the way you want it at an affordable price

So i recommend you buy some cheap working led strip from amazon for like 5 to test with it
