The only problem which really wasnt a problem was that i had to twist the pin to pierce the wire

The needle probe does pierce insulation to make contact while leaving a small enough opening to reseal itself without repair needed

This would be a fantastic probe if only the needle carrier included a spring to hold it to the target wire while the measurement is being made

In a vibrating environment the probe can fall from the wire before measurement is complete
