Pros
It's cheap and it provides enough deterrent for a couple minutes. Easy to understand instructions and easy to use. Setting the combination was painless.
The lock is thick, coils nicely, clean-looking, & easy to set new combos. It is stiffer to unwind than thinner cables but that's what you get for sturdiness.
Cons
Had to get bolt cutters to cut the cable in order to get it off the bike. Lock is also very heavy.

But ive lost two in the last 6 months because the latch didnt keep the lock fastened and it fell off somewhere along my route

When the first one fell off i ordered the identical lock but went ahead and replaced the holder even though the first one was still in place and seemed functional

But the second lock fell off within a month and i had never even removed it from the holder to use it in that time

As long as we found a bar to lock our luggage around it worked well otherwise we just wrapped our luggage handles together
