Your end result is only as good as your prep work so take your time with it. Some of the best tools ever made are simple devices that solve difficult problems. This device is one of them.
Cons
Two bolts that are supplied to clamp the two halves together either have a manufacturing defect or were used by someone else before. The positioning bolt needs to extend an additional 1/16. Photos show the bag smeared with grease and the tool and rela... Read More
The real issue is that any flaring tool needs to manufactured to very exact tolerances, and my one was not. The back side of the flare was being mangled due to excess material being formed. Does not work on cuni lines.
Die is trash! A big disappointment considering the selling price. What a bummer. Packaging is a joke.

Best $40 tool you are likely to find.

It appears the parts are here, and the tool will work - but the packaging was terrible.
Competitiveness
All i know is that i made a usable bubble flare in this way, and many others make similar claims.
I purchased this over other double flare tools for the compact size.
I am keeping this tool and giving the other brands away.
