Pros
It is something to purchase if you are a connoisseur wanting to try something different. Fresh taste, slightly tart, excellent on toast and muffins.
Always arrives sooner than expected from england. Best ever. Like the gooseberry jam by tiptree is a goodbuy.

I could see this being used as part of a rubmarinade for a pork roast too though the price is a bit dear for that i fear

All i’m tasting is sweet very little gooseberry flavor but for my toast it’s fine

It was to be a gift for an elderly 93 year old lady but after talking she said she didnt prefer gooseberry preserves

Perhaps it was a bit old but there was not a best by date on the jar so i couldnt tell if it was getting old or just the way this brand prepares it
