Pros

The only issue is the durability. Inspect and replace them as the wear down and no problems, they do the job. Lr are of good quality.

These work fairy well in my smith & wesson. Its cheaper than driving 45 minutes to the range, paying the fee, and shooting real ammo. Bought a packet from my 22lr 10/22 and p17 and have used it over and over. They protect the firing pin in my rimf...  Read More

Brass cartridge absorbs the impact by deforming. Puts a tiny indentation in the back, but looks like these will take a few dozen.

Cons

Had to disassemble the action and use needle nose pliers to extract with significant force. The rims are deformed. As soon as you “fire” them, the rim is permanently deformed and will no longer protect your firing pin.

The problem heavily lies in the rotating clips for the ruger 10/22 magazines. Second one jammed in feed mechanism. After three or four times the protrusions start to cause them to misfeed out of the magazine.

Cap is flimsy, barely has anything to stop the firing pin on dry fires. After 2 trigger pulls, snap cap would get stuck in mag tube due to rim being flared out from dry firing. Caps kept jamming when i tested the gun.

You definitely do not want to dryfire a 22 without these or you may cause permanent damage to the rifle

Just hate dry firing a gun without something to absorb the hit of the firing pin which leads to pin failure
