I prefer to wrap a patch around a nylon brush soak it with boretech bore cleaning solution and pull it from chamber to muzzle using an otis cable

Boretech makes my favorite brushes but these tipton brushes are nearly identical

It would seem to be impossible to have the twisted steel wire center section to contact the bore when pulling the brush with a cable

If you use a brass brush or a brush with a brass threaded tip you can see phantom copper evidence from the brush so youll never know when the copper has been cleaned from the bore
