Pros
The tube is more important than just being packaging. The one thing i would change is the bronze tip.
Don't have to worry about any damage to your barrel breach/bore with this carbon fiber rod. Grendel barrel.
The ball bearings in the handle are very smooth and the carbon fiber rod is slick. I like the flexibility and that the rod will not scratch the bore. Handle is the right size for a good grip and control.
Cons
The shaft was glued into the handle with some * glue of some sort. Arrived broken in half upon arrival. Returned for refund and ordered a dewey as a replacement.
I was really hoping for something great & unfortunately this is not it! Caveat emptor indeed.
Months after purchasing the brass tip broke clean off the rod. Went back to my coated otis cable setup. Pushing anything through the fouled bore is hard.
Too large to use with a patch.

Excellent quality and superbly easy to use and you don’t have to worry about damaging your barrel with it like you do with steel rods
It felt like burnt plastic i wondered if it was a flaw in the carbon fiber or if it was damaged
About 1 inch long and about 12 inch up from the brass end

It was packaged fine everything was there
Competitiveness
One brand name competitor uses bearings and had a bore guide on handlerod for a higher price

I always inspect my barrels with a borescope during cleaning and using a metal rod i would notice small scratches

Tipton should shave this down to a 20 caliber fit as it is a bit tight on my 22lr rifles
