These are brilliant for correcting mistakes when writing but you cannot write on top of the strips with a fountain pen ink pen or felt tip

Finally the tape does a pretty good job of covering up the desired text and in the majority of circumstances the old text cannot be seen underneath

How i used to hate the fluid corrector it got thick and gunky and you had to water it down then the ink showed through

This is totally different when there is something to correct just place the tip on the text and slowly move along the line

The tippex correct fluid rollers are smaller than i have previously used but i can detect no reduction in how well they dispense it glides on to the page and is applied dry so has none of the drawbacks i would associate with the bottles of correction fluid which can depending on how well it is applied or how long it has been kept or unsealed resealed with each use wind up caking up like paint on the page
