Highlights
Quality
No problems with the tiny avr programmer
Havent had any problems with it and have programmed a few attiny85s with the code for my latest creation
I was familiar with the product as i already had one
There are cheaper programmers but im still recommending this programmer to everyone who wants to work with the attiny processors
Shipping
I found the shipping cost excessive from this supplier
Packaging/appearance
Once i removed the attiny and used a breadboard instead everything worked as expected
If you want to program these through the arduino ide you must remember to burn the bootloader onto the chip
Successfully burned both the tiny85 and tiny13 chips with it last night
Competitiveness
Durable and works great i have used these sparkfun programmers before
Copypaste the simple blinking sketch into arduino ide as per sparkfun instructions
In order to set it up i would recommend looking up sparkfun tiny avr programmer hookup guide on google

I tried hooking this up to an i2c rtc and spent hours trying to get it to work

I finally came across a reviewers comment on the sparkfun website that saidthe board holds the sda signal on pin 5 high during the acknowledge clock cycle which results in not being able to detect an acknowledge low from a slave device
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The sda pin during the acknowledge clock cycle is configured as an input

Not sure if this will cause issues other than with i2c so keep this in mind

Only problem is the software you can only really use commands and stuff to get it working so long you can find out how
