I checked the service manual for this computer and it should be able to support this fourstick configuration of two 4s and two 8s

From my research it could just be the way the alienware computers are designed which sucks if true not sure if this is the case for all computers that you have to match manufacturers and specs exactly i could not find a good match from samsung so i went with these

Weird error and probably somehting on my part but i have been putting ram into computers many times over the years and never encounter a problem like this

I dont have stats on their speed but mostly it feels like unless youre doing ram intensive workloads you wont notice the few hundred mhz of bandwidth youre losing
