Pros
Great as a tool for using the pomodoro method or some variation. Silent mode is great if i dont want to disturb the roommies or coworkers. It does exactly what i expected these pomodoro type timers to do.
The mod is the perfect size for my classroom when i am working 1:1 with students. It's sturdy enough that if the kids get a hold of it, they're not going to destroy it. It is helpful as one of the tools used to manage adhd.
The only casualty so far is that my toddler pried off the pointy part of the dial to help set the timer. Countdowns for tablet use, bedtime, activity changes, you name it.
The bright red disk on white background is a cheery addition to my desktop. The silicon cover just makes it seem more durable, too.

I decided to fork over $30 for a dinky little timer because it had good reviews and was advertised in my add magazine. I'm really disappointed that a company that purports to care about its consumers would uphold its satisfaction guarantee.

Digital timers are good and accurate but having the visual of the red moving circle is way way better for all purposes

In my case thats usually all i need to get started and depending on how i feel after i may do more 25 minute sessions or switch to more organic work blocks and breaks before i start to feel too drained

For not being late i find it helpful to set it say for 30 minutes during which time i have to shower dress etc before leaving somewhere on time
