Pros & Cons
Pros
The wool in them doesn't itch and socks are soft! They're true to size! I generally wear these with waterproof boots and they help wick sweat away as good as any expensive brand name socks.
The thickest, longest lasting and comfiest i've found on amazon. The color works great for me as they came in two tones of grey; light and dark grey. It is easy to match with nearly every outfit i wear.
Cons
One of the 4 pairs is defective. Not wool. Do not recommend using these for hiking. Yes they are a lot cheaper than most brands, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality.
The seam across the toes is at a slight angle so it crosses over my 4th toe and under the pinky toe. There needs to be more wool at the toes and heel.
They are rough and not nearly as soft as you would expect merino wool to be. They are also not very insulated. They dont absorb any moisture and does not have any wicking ability.
These socks were advertised as 80% merino wool. After the first wash they shrunk in half. There is no merino wool or minimal amount but no way 70% as they clamed.
