The pockets are tight to keep the cards from slipping out. The bulge is about comparable to the old wallet. The leather is soft, and it is very high quality.

It's a matte finish, not shiny like the dark brown/fuller version of this wallet. It's definitely not distressed looking at all like in the photo. Constructed of a high quality leather exterior with good stitching throughout.

Cons

Despite other reviews the wallet is very slim, too slim in fact, and dinky quality.
