Adjustable neck/chin straps help anchor the hat in position. Wide brim stops rain from streaming into your eyes. Two tie cords, so it stays on when i'm cycling or in the wind.
Cons
New one feels and looks cheaply made with the cotton duck material. Nothing like the canvas material they used to use.

You dont even have to worry about it shrinking in the wash because the material is preshrunk

I strongly suggest trying them on in a shop with a range of sizes however as it took me a while to find a hat that fitted perfectly not too tight but not so loose that it easily falls off your head
