Tg about a half inch larger than the drain support extending from the bottom of the shower base and then cut a corresponding hole in a piece of durock and set the durock on the floor using thinset and 1 14 in

I let it set for 24 hours and it was just as solid as you can get no give and no flex

Setting the drain was a piece of cake use plenty of solvent and plenty of glue and push the two inch drain pipe firmly all the way into the shower base drain and hold it for at least 30 seconds then install the trap and connect to to the main drain line

This was no problem but if you try to apply the polymer and then figure out how everything is going to fit you are going to be in trouble
