It fits just fine on the countertop and under the kitchen cabinet. Will fit give or take 1 lb of high quality buds. This is the only giant storage container that i could find that will hold +5 pounds of coffee beans.
Love the tightvac. Highly recommend. Any reviews trying to describe how the item does not work are false claims.

Not sure it is going to keep the beans fresh unless you do not open the container frequently because it has a large air gap between my coffee beans 5 lbs and the lid and yes it does expel some of the air but not all

I started out using a foodsaver and vacuum sealing but frankly the process was painful and i had to know exactly what weight to put in each of three bags since once opened i would have to burn another bag to reseal

I get the bag cut a pour hole in the top fill the hopper and can stick the entire 5lb bag into this container

Even two month old beans smell fresh roasted when you open it

Like others and the manufacturer noted at first the lid will slide a bit when storing beans not enough to come off but just move
