Pros
Just plugged it in and worked. Made games that make my macbook pro's cpu cry.
This is perfect for my personal computer/recording setup. It looks sleek on my desktop and fulfils my use case very well.
Sd-card slot, micro-sd card slot, and vga at the same time. Design is pleasing to the eye and there are available ports for any purpose.
Works perfectly with my new lenovo - yoga 7i 2-in-1 14 touch screen laptop. Rd one can be hooked to vga port. Front usb ports make it very convenient.
Cons
Once connected an operating, seemed to work well but disconnecting and reconnecting devices was always hit or miss. Customer service only speaks in generalities. It is out of the one year warrantee and they offered $10 for their faulty product.

Competitiveness
I am using displayport for my 2019 macbook pro connecting it to monitor and basically turning a dockable desktop
0 sdcard slot microsd card slot and vga at the same time
My first device failed after about 8 months so i decided to take my chances and buy another one because of the price

My workstation is limited to two external monitors at the moment one connected by displayport and the other by vga

My thinkpad on the other hand a windows machine will identify both monitors and allow me to adjust settings for these monitors individually

I ran into an issue where even my windows machine would not recognize the displayport monitor

When both monitors were connected to the docking station power cycle the docking station then reconnect it to the host machine

Turns out the error was between the keyboard and the chair hint it was me i overlooked such a simple solution

With my old docking station i had to remove the mouse and power and docking station cable such a headache
