The touchpad is useless for doing the usual calculations. There is now just one button labeled 'trig' to use. To use pi now requires two presses, the imaginary number and three. This calculator is just not practical.
To force kids to learn, they make everything'manual' ergo, tedious. The software is pretty much the same on both models. A larger screen on the newer model would have been great.

This calculator was able to do things in no time the 8384 calculators couldnt do automatically at all like finding eigenvalues
