Pros
The velcro is adjustable with multiple options. It fit my 6lb yorkiepoo perfectly. He's longer than the average chi with a more muscular chest. Adjustable but stillsnug.
Calms him right down and the shaking stops.
My only complaint is i didn't buy this sooner! Thank you, thundershirt. Got it from amazon next day, and love it.
It truly is like swaddling a baby. Made of sturdy material and easy to clean. Ymmv, every dog is unique.
Cons
The material seems very cheap and flimsy. I have a dog who has really bad separation anxiety, he takes xanax for it it's so bad. Tried milder choices.

I have a coonhound mix that is extremely shaken with fireworks thunder really an excessively loud noise

She shakes and pees if you try to make her go out

Mind you this is not just during these events it goes on for days after and with fireworks going on for several days sometimes weeks it is a huge problem

Then when she came in i kept hearing more fireworks and kept expecting her to jump down and run under my bed like usual but instead with her thunder shirt she laid on the couch like she wasn’t even hearing them

When i went to bed she came in with me and jumped up on my bed with me usually hides under bed for days after hearing them and as we laid there we heard several more go off and she never even flinched
