Depending on your preference the handle is very long which for some plugs i could save you be a problem that i actually like that feature

I do have to say that those who are lacking grip andor forearm strength will have a difficult time lift this off the stove when there is food in it as the handle is round and a little tough to manage the weight without the pan tilting

I was looking for a really big pan for when i make noodle dishes like pancit and wanted to fit two full bags of rice noodles with veg and broth into a pan

My 12 inch 5 qt just wasnt big enough and i kept making a mess

Its not too big to fit on my burner but its still huge and deep

And because the handle is long youll have to find somewhere to store it because it probably wont fit in any normal drawer or cupboard from edge of both handles its 28 inches long so i ended up putting this big betty thats my pans nickname on a shelf in my pantry
